ʜɪsᴛᴏʀʏ: Like Shrewpaw himself, his mother was clanborn, but he never knew his father and probably never will since his mother insisted on keeping the identity of her mate a secret, whether it was her idea or his, based on broken code or a broken heart Shrewpaw will never know since his mother died of a snake bite when he was about 3 moons old. He was old enough to grasp the concept of death, but it didn't quite phase him as it might most as he feels no great sense of loss. Since then he's managed to carry on with little emotional struggle, however his lack of a maternal figure has lead him to be a little bit of a pain in the flank which at first most thought was just because he was young and didn't know anybetter, but it's becoming apparently clear that this little tom has a bit of...an attitude.

He's a conceded little buggar that's for sure, he thinks the world of himself, at least that's what he tries to convince others of and what better way to convince you think you're all that than to brag about being all that. Doesn't nessisary have the skill to back it up, but that doesn't stop him from trying, and failing, then making excuses.
[ Rude ]
He's not really aware of his utter lack of manners, he's just not very good at reading situations and often says the worst possible thing at the worst possible time and will get offended when scolded for his words, seeing as he doesn't think he did anything wrong.
[ Rash ]
Does not think things through. Will blurt things out he should keep to himself and will offend and fight cats twice his size for the sake of pride. Gets beat up a lot.
[ Competative ]
Shrewpaw hates to lose, it just rubs him the wrong way, he just doesn't understand the concept of taking defeat with grace, or winning with grace for that matter, because when he wins at something, he won't let the other participant forget it, ever. It doesn't accure to him that his challenger won't act the same way he does in victory, that is to say, like a smug little glory whore.
[Insecure]
Shrewpaw is insecure about everything, his looks, his abilities, the way his tail twitches when he's nervous because he's sure other cats can tell what a mess he really is, how could they not? This insecurity tends to cause Shrewpaw to lash out a lot.
[Easily Flustered]
He tries very hard to hide this part of himself with nasty words and scoffing remarks, especially when teased, but compliments throw him completely off guard to the point of babbling like an idiot with an befuddled expression on his face. If ever flirted with would probably run and hide.
[Stubborn]
If wrong, which he often is, won't admit it, would rather steep in self loathing that apologize.
ʟɪᴋᴇs:
Climbing, watching fireflies, sleeping in, dusk patrol, having his ears played with and feathers. Winning.
ᴅɪsʟɪᴋᴇs
Rouges, other clans, strangers in general. Kits crying, being scolded, being alone, being judged. Losing.
He's an insecure little jerk who's easily flustered.
Born in Willowclan, his mother died early on in his life never to reveal the identity of his father though some say he must of been a rouge, Foxpaw resents these rumors and insists he is a pureblooded clan cat all the way. Hates outsiders, mostly out of lack of understanding or rather unwillingness to understand their ways or point of view. Is mostly all bark and no bite, but will fight despite his skill level or that of his opponent. It's the sharpest stick in the tree.
Acts before he thinks and then worries after, then gives himself stomach aches with all his worrying. He's got a sharp tongue and a bit of a punk attitude but gets completely flustered when praised or teased. All in all he's a little rough around the edges but truly as a gooey center once you dig in, that is if you can tolerate him.

ʟᴏɴɢ ᴅᴇsᴄʀɪᴘᴛɪᴏɴ: A small tom with sleek black fur and light amber eyes. Despite being a bit on the shorter side, is still rather lean and quite agile.
ʙᴜɪʟᴅ: Short and lean.
ғᴜʀ: A sleek, smooth black.
ᴇʏᴇs: Amber.
